All products under Northern Goose begin with a unique hybrid of goose developed over 30 years. Northern Goose produces a larger bird with most of the extra size in the breast area, producing an abundance of down and meat. The geese are raised on a network of farms that have been supplying Northern Goose since it began operation in 1976. All birds are housed in clean, roomy, modern barns, fed a healthy mixture of Canadian wheat and barley, and are allowed to range freely on open fields.
