Northern Goose was founded in 1976 by Don Salkeld. With Don's engineering background, he was an integral part of the construction of this modern automated processing plant. His day to day hands on approach and business skills have made Northern Goose Canada's only major processor of goose products. Northern Goose is now the only Federally registered goose plant in Canada.As expected, the expansion into the world of feathers and down was inevitable.
